Texas Church Shooting Heroes and Their Thoughts on Gun Control

Two cases, two shooters stopped, two brave men willing to do what was needed to save lives, and two cases that show very clearly the need for people to be able to be armed and ready to defend. The first case was on November 5, 2017, and many lives were lost, because no one was at the location to top the shooter. The man who did stop him did so as he was trying to get to another target, from what we are told. The second case was just lat month, December 29, 2019, and that shooter was stopped much faster, because that time there were armed people who could do something as soon as he began his attack. In both cases, armed citizens acted to stop these attackers, who would surely have done a lot more harm had those men not been prepared and armed and able to defend their communities. Here are the articles, with the thoughts and opinions of these two heroes:

TX Church Hero: None of Government’s Business What Kind of Gun I Use

Stephen Willeford, the hero who ended the November 5, 2017, Texas church shooting with an AR-15, spoke at the January 20, 2020, Virginia 2A rally in opposition to an AR-15 ban.
Willeford told the Washington Free Beacon’s Stephen Gutowski that he “absolutely” would have been at a disadvantage against the church shooter had he not been able to use an AR-15.
He said, “The attacker had Class 3 body armor,” describing it as a step above what many police departments use. The attacker’s armor meant Willeford had “a very clear disadvantage to start with,” and it meant Willeford would have to choose his shot to end the attack.
Willeford said, “I hit him a couple of times in his body armor and it didn’t stop him, but he felt it. Then when he turned to his side I could see where it [strapped] across form the front to back and I aimed for that spot and I hit him in the side and I hit him in the legs.”
Willeford summed up his action again the attacker by saying, “On a moving target that was shooting at me those are pretty good shoots, and i’m not sure I could have done that with a pistol.”
“It’s none of the government’s business at all what I use to defend my life, my family, [and] my friends,” he said.

Church Shooting Hero Jack Wilson: ‘Without the Second Amendment, You Will Lose All of Your Rights’

Turning Point USA (TPUSA) released a video on Sunday featuring an exclusive interview with Texas church hero as Jack Wilson, who took down an active shooter at the West Freeway Church of Christ in White Settlement, Texas, on December 29, 2019.
“Without the Second Amendment, in my opinion — very strongly — you will lose all of your rights,” said Wilson in the interview. “The firearm is not the evil thing, the person behind it is either good or evil. It’s not a firearm issue, it is a person issue.”
Wilson — who was awarded The Governor’s Medal of Courage by Texas Governor Greg Abbott (R) last week — noted that, “from the time the individual turned with the gun in his hand, to when it was over was a total of six seconds.”
Watch below:
“When the individual came into the building, it was obvious that he did have a wig and a fake beard on,” said Wilson. “We were watching the individual. I had gone into the audio-visual room and actually had them put a camera — one of the cameras specifically on the individual, just to observe and watch.”
“The individual got up and went back and talked briefly to Tony, and that’s when he turned with the shotgun,” he added. “He had pulled a shotgun out of his pocket, or coat — and then by that time, Richard and I were both drawing our firearms.”
Wilson went on to recall what had happened next.
Richard told him, “Drop the gun, drop the gun.” He shot Richard, immediately turned and shot Tony Wallace. I had people in front of me that prevented me from taking a body shot — a torso shot — and the only shot I had was the head shot. When I took the head shot, the subject went down. From the time the individual turned with the gun in his hand, to when it was over was a total of six seconds.
“It doesn’t start at that moment that you need to be able to protect yourself,” said Wilson. “You have to learn to use a firearm that you’re comfortable with, become proficient with it, train with it.”
“God gave me the training, gave me the mindset to be able to stop the situation,” said Wilson. “We are all in mourning for the loss of Richard and Tony, and the congregation is in mourning for them, and also trying to understand and deal with what happened.”
“But I don’t feel like I killed an individual,” he added. “I killed evil. I took out evil.”

Thank God for these two men, and also for all who will defend others, and address the evils of this world.  These men are correct, guns are not evil; some people who use them are, and you don't resolve that by taking guns from good people.   And it's not the business of the government what gun we own.  Period.  Unless nd until we use one in the commission of a crime, they have no say in the matter.  Any tool can be used for evil, but we don't place controls on all tools because of that.  They want controls on guns because guns can also be used to defend against a government turned evil.  Never forget that.  Without the right to bear arms, we will have no rights at all.  History has proven this.

Commenting without Disqus

No, not leaving that site, as of yet, but many of us have seen issues with upvotes vanishing, myself included, and some are understandably annoyed by this.  If anyone wants, there is a way to comment here without that service, just by using the already built-in system.  You do have to log in via Google, and I know that can be problematic, but if you have them on an android device already, you can use that same data for this.  Same for YouTube, etc., too.  You can log in, view the blogs, and comment, all without an external site.  You can even follow, by scrolling to the very bottom of a page and clicking where a few have already done so.

Also, I do have another site, at Wordpress, where you can comment, just by creating a free account there, and there is a subscribe option for that blog as well.  I haven't used it much, so far, but if there is enough interest, can post there as well as here.  So let me know what you think.  One site is easier, but can do two, if needed.  Link for that is Facts, Fun, and Faith.  I've just been posting here lately, as it's a decent format, and also does allow Disqus to be added, which I wanted to make things easier for all who followed the old channel.

Anyway, just a reminder that we can engage one another without Disqus, if we like.  Happy to chat with all of you either way, and make sure to invite people over that you think would be interested!

Abortion Emergencies and the Lies Pro-Aborts Tell

One again, we are seeing the lies exposed, the real dangers to women revealed.  Every abortion brings a death, and many bring serious risk to the woman as well.

Pro-Life Operation Rescue Challenges ‘Safe’ Abortion Claim: 100 Emergencies in 2019

Operation Rescue, a pro-life abortion clinic watchdog group, has released a video documenting 100 medical emergencies at abortion clinics in 2019.
The organization states the video is a compilation of actual 911 call clips that include 35 abortion-related hemorrhages, five uterine perforations, and 39 other unspecified incidents that resulted in emergency transport to a local hospital.
“This video tears the façade off the Abortion Cartel’s favorite rhetoric that abortion-related complications and hospitalizations are rare,” wrote Cheryl Sullenger, senior vice president of Operation Rescue.

“One woman spent time in the ICU, one was forced to have a hysterectomy to save her life, and one abortion patient tragically died,” Sullenger said, adding:
Tia Parks died on June 8, 2019, the day after a surgical first trimester abortion at Preterm, an abortion facility in Cleveland, Ohio. Preterm staff failed to diagnose an ectopic pregnancy, which ruptured after the abortion. Parks suffered internal hemorrhaging that killed her.
In one clip in the video, the 911 dispatcher is heard speaking sharply to a staff member at Whole Women’s Health in Peoria, Illinois, who was not providing her with adequate information about the condition of the patient:
911 Dispatcher: What’s going on there?
Abortion Clinic: We have a patient who needs assistance.
911: Okay, what kind of assistance?
Clinic: Transport to the emergency room.
911: And what’s wrong with her?
Clinic: She needs to go through the emergency –
911: Okay, is she conscious and alert? I need something other than that. Is she breathing normally? Do you … is there any way you can find out? I mean, that is our protocol – to ask questions to find out how fast they need to come.
The clinic employee then is heard telling the dispatcher the reason they are not providing sufficient information:
Clinic: But I also know that we’re an abortion clinic and it’ll be posted all over the Internet.
The video is released a week before the 47th annual March for Life, to be held on the National Mall in Washington, DC on January 24.
The challenge to the abortion industry narrative that the procedure is “safe” also comes in advance of the case June Medical Services LLC v. Gee, to be heard by the U.S. Supreme Court on March 4.
In that case, the Court will take up a challenge to a 2014 Louisiana safety law that required abortionists to have admitting privileges at a nearby hospital. The abortion industry routinely dismisses such laws as an interference with women’s right to abortion.
Troy Newman, president of Operation Rescue said:
Based on the number and severity of the 100 medical emergencies we documented last year, and the hundreds we verified before that, it is only prudent to ensure that an abortionist can qualify for hospital privileges. If an abortionist cannot qualify for hospital privileges yet continues to conduct abortions, he or she is placing the lives of women at risk.
Newman said his organization believes the video documentation of 100 incidents of emergency transport from abortion clinics “is just the tip of a very ugly iceberg.”
“Abortionists want everyone to think abortion is one of the safest procedures, but in truth, it carries life-threatening risks that threaten women on a daily basis,” he explained. “The public has a right to know the truth about the dangers of abortion.”

There can be no mistake; all the abortionists care about is the money, and the continued sacrifice of babies to the one they follow.  They don't care about the health of women.  Used to be, you could pay a small fee and trace a license plate.  Pro-life people would use this method to determine whose cars were left at abortion clinics, to see if the women had been admitted to the hospital.  Abortionists didn't like this, and now you can't do that anymore.  They lie they cover up, and they destroy lives.  Abortion is NOT a right.  Murdering one's own offspring isn't a right.  Enough is enough.

Jet Fuel Dumped on Schools!

This is truly chilling.  Fortunately, there seem to be no serious issues from this, but still:

Delta Jet Dumps Fuel on Schoolchildren During Emergency Landing at LAX

A Delta Airlines jet flying from Los Angeles to Shanghai on Tuesday was forced to make an emergency landing at LAX — and dumped jet fuel on the city, including on children playing outside at Park Avenue Elementary School in Cudahy.
The Los Angeles Times reported:
Delta Flight 89 had taken off from LAX with 149 passengers and was en route to Shanghai when it turned around and headed back to the airport because of engine trouble.
…
The pilots took the plane — a Boeing 777 — north over Malibu within four minutes after takeoff at 11:32 a.m., according to Flightradar24, a firm that maintains airline path data across the globe.
…
According to Flightradar24, Tuesday’s flight never got above 8,000 feet and was at about 2,300 feet when it passed over Park Avenue Elementary School in Cudahy at 11:53 a.m. The plane showered jet fuel on schoolchildren below.
CBS News reported that three schools were affected:
The pilot reported a compressor stall in the right engine — damage that can happen through malfunction or when a foreign object such as a bird hits an engine. The damage can reduce engine thrust or lead to a fire in the worst cases.
…
The fuel sprayed out in two streams from the wings and fell at midday in the city of Cudahy and nearby parts of Los Angeles County, about 13 miles east of the airport.
The vapor directly landed on three Los Angeles Unified School District campuses and about 20 others experienced some effects from the odor of fuel discharged at higher altitudes, the district said in a statement.
The fuel, described by fire officials as a vapor, caused minor skin and lung irritation to 56 children and adults but nobody was taken to the hospital and the only decontamination required was soap and water, officials said.
All the schools were cleaned overnight.
At least one observer caught the action in a video posted to Twitter:

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is investigating. There are questions as to whether the pilots needed to dump the fuel, or whether they could have avoided doing so, or done so over an unpopulated area instead.
Students returned to school Wednesday as usual.

This raises some serious safety concerns.  Was the fuel dump necessary?  If so, how safe is it to have these planes flying over populated areas?  What would have happened had they not dumped the fuel?  A fiery crash?  More harm than the fuel caused?   Statistically, how often is this sort of thing an issue?  There have been other questionable reports of things possibly being dumped from planes, and I wonder how often that happens.

This is "Tolerance".

As usual, what the Left demands fro others, they fail to demonstrate themselves.  The rules they would set for you do not apply to them.  They lie when they claim to want tolerance; what they want is total submission:

An activist of women's rights organization Femen climbs over a fence in front of a mosque during a protest in Berlin, Thursday, April 4, 2013. The radical feminists, calling for more sexual freedom for Arab women, were protesting in support of a young Tunisian woman who received online death threats …

A radical feminist group has claimed responsibility for recently vandalizing two churches in Germany and torching a pro-life journalist’s car.
The first attack reportedly occurred on December 27, when members of a group called the “Feminist Autonomous Cell” (FAC) vandalized an evangelical Christian church with spray pain in the southern German city of Tübingen. The group also set a minibus on fire outside the church, causing some 40,000 euro in damages, according to estimates by authorities.
Not long after, FAC posted a confession letter on the website indymedia, which accused the of fomenting “anti-feminist attitudes,” Catholic News Service reported.
Last week, FAC militants were at it again, throwing paint on Saint Elisabeth’s church in Berlin. The group posted an online letter claiming that the paint attack came in retaliation for the church having hosted participants in Germany’s annual March for Life, held last September.
In their letter, FAC members justified the attack, saying that the March for Life serves as a platform for “fundamentalist, anti-trans, homophobic, anti-Semitic, misogynist, patriarchal, and right-wing conservative” speakers.
On New Year’s Eve, FAC members set fire to the SUV owned by pro-life German journalist and author Gunnar Schupelius, who writes for the newspaper BZ and has openly espoused pro-life views.
In FAC’s confession letter for the arson, they also doxxed Schupelius, publishing his home address “in a bid to provoke further violence,” Catholic News Service reported.
This marked the second time Schupelius’ car was torched because of his pro-life stance. Five years ago his car was set on fire and, as in the recent case, a confession taking credit for the arson was published online.
In an interview last week, Schupelius was asked if there wasn’t some contradiction in left-wing radicals — who supposedly defend freedom of speech — using violence to shut him up.
“It is really a paradoxical situation,” Schupelius said. “These are people who claim to be fighting for the right thing. This includes tolerance towards dissenters, but they don’t believe in that.”
Schupelius added that the discussion has changed and anyone dissenting from popular opinion on matters such as abortion or climate change must justify their positions, since they are seen as going against the morally superior stance.

And that's the crux of the issue.  They know they are wrong, so they label all who oppose them as evil, by application of various labels, and then they demand those "evil" people remain silent, because they don't get to have an opinion.  This isn't the only time this has happened, either.  Note the hypocrisy from this woman:

Not even close to being the only case, either.  Now, mind you, you have to really dig on YT to locate these videos, because they bury them in the searches, same as they do for any racial attacks against white people, but here are several more, showing the "tolerance" of the left, on any serious issue:

Warning on the next one about the behavior of one individual - highly offensive and inappropriate:

At least in this case, the German polizei do their jobs, and arrest those violent people.

Note the contrast between the two groups:

Apparently, 47% of Young Americans Need to Relocate

This is sad, and a reflection on just how bad the schools have become.  This is what happens when communism and socialism and perversion are being taught in schools, and the nation's freedoms are represented as bad things.

Poll: 47% of Young Democrats Prefer Other Countries over America

A shocking new poll has discovered that 47 percent of young Democrats believe that other countries are better than the United States. Moreover, many young Americans admit that they wouldn’t mind other countries becoming as militarily powerful as the United States.
Slightly more than one third — 36 percent — of Americans 18 to 29 say that other countries are better than the United States, according to a recent poll released by Pew Research.
Among Democrats and Democratic-leaning independents under the age of 30, nearly half, 47 percent, say that there are other countries that are better than the U.S. Meanwhile, just 20 percent of Democrats age 50 and over agree with this sentiment.
“Democrats have become more likely to say there are other countries that are better than the U.S.,” says Pew Research. “In telephone surveys, the share of Democrats saying this is higher than at any point since the question was first asked by Pew Research Center in 2011, and there has been a corresponding decline in the share saying the U.S. stands above other nations.” This poll demonstrates the dramatic shift in the Democrat party’s base, and the potential schism between traditional Democrat voters and young and woke progressives.
The study also noted that young Americans are “more likely to say it would be acceptable if another country became as militarily powerful as the U.S.”
According to Pew Research, a majority of adults — 61 percent — say that the United States should maintain its status as a military superpower, but that more than half — 55 percent — of Democrats under the age of 30 admit that they would find it acceptable if other nations became as militarily powerful as the United States.
Among young Republicans and Republican-leaning independents, these numbers are significantly lower, as just 19 percent of adults under the age of 30 agree with their young Democrat counterparts with regards to the idea that other countries are superior to the United States.
Among Republicans ages 50 and older, only 4 percent share agree with this sentiment.
The report added that while a majority of Republicans say that the Untied States should try to maintain its status as a military superpower, 38 percent of Republicans under the age of 30 say that it would be acceptable if another country became as militarily powerful as the U.S.

To the parents; get your kids out of these Leftist, Globalist indoctrination centers posing as schools.  To the people who think this way, I have just one response, the door's that-a-way.

Flori-Duh Restricts Gun Rights, Again

This state has so many issues.  Yet again, they've decided to restrict the rights of their citizens, passing yet another law that violates the Constitution, as do all gun control measures.  Note, too, this has the GOP involved:

GOP-Led FL Senate Committee Bucks NRA, Passes Gun Control

Supporters of gun control and firearm safety measures hold a protest rally outside the US Supreme Court as the Court hears oral arguments in State Rifle and Pistol v. City of New York, NY, in Washington, DC, December 2, 2019. - The case marks the first time in nearly 10 …

A Republican-led Florida Senate committee bucked the NRA to pass new controls for gun shows in the Sunshine State.
The gun control got the support of State Sen. Tom Lee, the same Sen. who voted to reinstate disgraced Broward County Sheriff Scott Israel in October 2019.
The Miami Herald reports the new controls are aimed at private sales at gun shows.
They require a gun seller “to check the person’s ID to make sure they’re legally allowed to own the weapon and fill out a form recording the transaction.” The vendor would check these things via a “form” which “would include a list of questions for the buyer, such as whether they’re a felon, a fugitive from justice, or have anything else in their history that would prevent them from owning a gun.”
The NRA’s Marion Hammer said, “It appears to be an actual attempt to ban private sales through red tape and fear. Asking average citizens to create what amounts to a government form and get it notarized is ridiculous.”
Hammer described the new regulations as “nothing less than gun control on steroids.”
But Sen. Tom Lee defended the gun control vote, saying, “This committee bill is our best effort to try to improve public safety on the margins here. It is not a perfect system.”
Lee admitted that putting the seller in the position of performing a quasi-background check on buyers places the seller in a tight spot. He noted that the seller should hold on to a completed form “indefinitely,” to show compliance with the regulation, in the event that a gun “ultimately [gets] used in the commission of a crime.”
Michael Bloomberg-funded Moms Demand Action supported the gun control.
Shame that the elected officials in Florida and so any other states don't respect the Constitution of this nation, or the rights of their constituents.  Floridians need to do some house cleaning in the coming election, and get these traitors to freedom voted out of office.
