Virginia Democrats fought to curb the gun control revolt Monday by requiring equal protesters for each when hearings began.
This meant even if thousands of advocates for one side showed up,
only 30 would be allowed in if only 30 advocates for the other side were
present. Virginia Pilot reporter Marie Albiges reported,
“Police told me the room is split so that each side gets the same
number of people to talk/observe the meeting, a directive from the New
Democratic majority.”
The Washington Free Beacon reported “thousands”
of NRA members did show up, but the Virginia Shooting Sports
Association notes members of Michael Bloomberg-funded Moms Demand Action
were escorted past them to keep numbers equal:

The massive turnout of NRA members still had a strong impact, as Democrat lawmakers withdrew a bill that would have centered on the confiscation of AR-15s and similar guns.
It's a safe bet that they would not have done such a thing if pro-rights people had been outnumbered. Nice to see this failed, anyway, and this is why:

confiscation bill Monday after thousands of NRA members showed up to
oppose new gun controls.
The NRA asked members
to flood the January 13, 2020, Virginia Senate meetings and ensure
pro-Second Amendment voices drowned out those calling for gun control.
Video from hallways outside the meetings showed NRA members responded en masse:
The Washington Free Beacon reports
the presence of thousands of NRA members “appeared to have an impact.”
Democrats withdrew a bill aimed at AR-15 confiscation and moderated
other gun control proposals.
But NRA-ILA Virginia state director Daniel Spiker made clear the changes, though good, were not enough.
He said, “While there were some improvements to some of these bills,
overall, it’s still bad legislation. Putting in more regulations and
making it more onerous on the law-abiding citizens of Virginia is not
something we stand for.”
Richard Cosner, a Chester, Virginia, preacher, was present to oppose new gun controls.
He pointed out attempts to legislate gun control serve as a way to
usurp the Constitution: “The Constitution is specific; it ‘shall not be
infringed.’ If somebody wants to restrict those rights then they need
to follow it by altering the Constitution, not by putting in place
legislation that is in conflict with the Constitution.”
They would alter the Constitution if they could, too. Heck, they'd toss it out burning, if they felt they could get away with such a thing. That is THE reason that the Second Amendment is needed, and THE reason they attack it so often. That's the one that protects all the rest, and they know it. Fascists always want to disarm people first.
Well, this is interesting. I'm glad this man was found safe, though I do wonder how things went so badly so quickly. The cause mentioned for the fire seems, well, a little careless. What do you think?
A man survived more than three weeks in the
freezing Alaska wilderness when state troopers found his “SOS” message
that he scrawled in the snow, authorities said.
Authorities found Tyson Steele, 30, a homesteader from Salt Lake
City, Utah, safe and sound last Thursday after he fled his remote cabin,
which caught fire in mid-December, Alaska State Troopers said, according to the New York Post.
Steele was safe, but he was hungry, cold, and looked like the Tom Hanks character in the movie Cast Away when the troopers found him.
Steele’s cabin was completely destroyed by the inferno, which began
when a “big piece of cardboard” he burnt on the woodstove set the roof
ablaze on December 17 or 18.
The 30-year-old’s dog, Phil, did not survive the fire, and most of
his possessions also perished in the blaze as well. Authorities say
Steele lived alone in the cabin 20 miles from Skwenta.
Steele, who did not have a phone or map to guide him, survived by spending two days hunkered down in a snow cave.
“It was just big enough for my sleeping bags and me and a couple things of food,” he said in a press release
about the rescue. “And that stayed, you know, snow caves are pretty
nice for survival. There’s a lot of insulation. It can be negative 40
outside and if you have a candle—which I didn’t— but if you do, it can
be above 30 degrees.”
“But I just huddled into that dark cave and I slept. I slept for a
really long time. And it was, it was warm. Warmer than outside,” he
continued.
Steele then used the remains of his cabin to build a temporary shelter and kept a perpetual fire going for warmth.
He was also able to survive on 30 days’ rations of food that he was
able to salvage from the cabin, according to Steele’s account of the
ordeal.
Troopers began searching for Steele on Thursday after friends said they had heard nothing from him.
When authorities flew over the area, they found Steele’s “SOS” sign and spotted him waving his arms in need of help.
After his rescue, Steele’s friends gave him a hot shower and a McDonald’s Combo Meal number two.
As for Steele, he says he is going back to Salt Lake City to recover for a while.
“I’m probably going to go back home to Salt Lake City. Not ‘back’
home, because this is my home,” he said of the Alaska wilderness. “But
to my family. They’ve got a dog. And that would be some therapy.”
You'd think, in a remote area far from help, a bit more caution would be used when burning anything. Good that he knew how to utilize the snow cave, and had enough food.

fucking cookout,” he warns. “The cops are going to be the ones fucking
beaten in Milwaukee.”
In another part of the video, Jurek is seen arguing that gulags were
beneficial for the Soviet Union and suggesting they could be used to
re-educate Trump voters and the billionaire class.
“In Nazi Germany, after the fall of the Nazi Party, there was a
shit-ton of the populace that was fucking Nazified,” says Jurek.
“Germany had to spend billions of dollars re-educating their fucking
people to not be Nazis,” he continues. “We’re probably going to have to

Tuesday’s footage is one of several upcoming videos to be released as
part of the group’s “Expose2020” campaign.

Veritas on Tuesday shows a field organizer for Sen. Bernie Sanders’ 2020

A recent bad code update on Facebook allowed
anyone to see which accounts posted Facebook Pages, including those of
celebrities and politicians. Among the pages exposed by the bug was
teenage climate activist Greta Thunberg, whose posts are often authored
by her father Svante Thunberg or Adarsh Prathap, an Indian climate
change activist.
Wired reports that
a recent bad code update on Facebook accidentally revealed the
administrators of multiple Facebook Pages including those of celebrities
and politicians. Facebook Pages allow celebrities, public figures, and
businesses to have a presence on the platform without being tied to a
single account and can be managed by multiple Facebook users. The Page
owners can opt to remain anonymous if they choose to do so.
The Facebook bug exposed that both Greta’s father and an Indian
climate activist named Adarsh Prathap have posted to Greta’s Facebook
account in place of the teenager posting herself.
As James Delingpole explained for Breitbart News:
Yes: this evidence that Greta the Climate Puppet is in
fact merely the tool of grown-ups with a political agenda probably won’t
come as a surprise to anyone. Greta Thunberg is, after all, the David
Hogg of environmentalism.

by the global elite that she has even been invited to the World Economic

The bug that went live last Thursday and remained active until Friday
morning allowed anyone to see who was running any Page on Facebook.
Facebook quickly pushed a fix for the issue but not before people
discovered the users behind a number of popular Facebook pages. Facebook
commented on the issue in a statement saying: “We quickly fixed an
issue where someone could see who edited or published a post on behalf
of a Page when looking at its edit history. We are grateful to the
security researcher who alerted us to this issue.”
Some of the Page admins exposed include the official Facebook Pages
of the street artist Banksy, Russian president Vladimir Putin, former US
secretary of state Hillary Clinton, Canadian prime minister Justin
Trudeau, the hacker group Anonymous, and rapper Snoop Dogg. Facebook has
highlighted that no information beyond the Page Admins name and public
profile were available but the issue has now been resolved.
Lukasz Olejnik, an independent privacy adviser and research associate
at Oxford University’s Center for Technology and Global Affairs,
commented on the situation stating: “For sensitive Pages, I would not
rule out that some people may be feeling that they are in danger due to
what happened today. Using fake accounts to run Pages would have been a
good idea. Some could see it as a paranoid way of hiding, but it’s not.”
Olejnik added: “People who run sensitive Pages from their own
Facebook should now consider that their identity may be known. While
mistakes happen, this one is unexpected.”

An Iranian national arrested near President
Trump’s Mar-a-Lago resort in Palm Beach, Florida, originally arrived in
the United States as a refugee, Breitbart News has learned.
On January 10, Palm Beach Police Department arrested 38-year-old Masoud Yarieilzoleh, from Iran, who was apparently sleeping in a gazebo in a park in Palm Beach, according to the Palm Beach Post.
When police searched Yarieilzoleh, they found a 17-inch machete, two
4.5-inch knives, and an ax, along with about $22,000 in cash.
Also, Yarieilzoleh’s car had been parked at Palm Beach International
Airport. Yarieilzoleh was charged with carrying a concealed weapon and
has since been released from police custody with only a notice to appear
in court later this month.
A law enforcement source exclusively confirmed to Breitbart News that
Yarieilzoleh first arrived in the U.S. from Iran in 2014 as a refugee.
Two years later, United States Citizenship and Immigration Services
(USCIS) awarded Yarieilzoleh with a green card, which allows him to
permanently remain in the country.
Between 2009 and 2016, former President Obama resettled more than
25,000 refugees from Iran in the U.S. despite the country being on the
State Department’s list of state sponsors of terrorism since 1984.
Yarieilzoleh’s arrest comes as 19 Republican governors, including
Tennessee’s Bill Lee, Arkansas’ Asa Hutchinson, and Iowa’s Kim Reynolds,
have signed on to
continue resettling refugees in their states. Texas Gov. Greg Abbott is
the only Republican governor in the country thus far who has said his state will halt refugee resettlement. Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis has yet to announce his decision.
Why was he allowed into the country? Under what conditions was he considered a refugee? Why was he given a gree card? Where did he get all that money? A federal appeals court released $3.6 billion in border wall funding Wednesday that had been blocked by a lawsuit.
The 5th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in New Orleans lifted the curbs
while the Department of Justice prepares to appeal a lower judge’s
decision to block the spending because of the lawsuit.
Reuters reported:
In a 2-1 ruling, the panel noted that the U.S. Supreme
Court had stayed an injunction in a similar border wall case from the
9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals.
The court also said there was a “substantial likelihood” that the
parties challenging the funding transfer – the county of El Paso, Texas,
and the Border Network for Human Rights – lacked standing to sue the
Trump administration.
So far, and amid dogged resistance by Democratic legislators, Trump’s
deputies have upgraded roughly 100 miles of older wall. The extra money
— which was transferred from other spending programs by President
Donald Trump’s emergency declaration — will allow the agencies to
construct another 174 miles of wall, including new wall on stretches of
the border which lack any barrier.
“The Fifth Circuit’s order allowing the Trump administration to
proceed came in a brief 2-1 decision, with appointees of Presidents
Reagan and Trump in the majority, and an Obama appointee in dissent,”
says a report in the Wall Street Journal. “The order wasn’t a final ruling on the merits of the case, but gives the administration a green light for now.”
People living near the border deserve protection from invaders, and this nation needs protection as well.

Chick-fil-A sold its Christian soul last year
to the left’s gay mafia and now we’re learning its response to the
criticism of this is just more mealy mouthed, corporate cowardice.
In a mercenary effort to expand its already considerable corporate
wealth and power — you know, like Jesus told us to — Chick-fil-A not
only sacrificed the Salvation Army and the Fellowship of Christian
Athletes — two highly respected and effective Christian organizations —
to America’s fascist LGBT bullies, Chick-fil-A also crawled into bed with far-left hate groups like the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC).
“There’s no question we know that, as we go into new markets, we need
to be clear about who we are,” Chick-fil-A President and Chief
Operating Officer Tim Tassopoulos said in November. “There are lots of articles and newscasts about Chick-fil-A, and we thought we needed to be clear about our message.”
And with that statement, announcing the pulling of its funding,
Chick-fil-A joined the far-left mob in smearing two Christian
organizations that do incredible work for the poor. You see, the
statement basically says, we’re not bigots and homophobes like those
“other” Christians.
Hey, we’re all used to corporate cowardice, and Chick-fil-A can donate its money to whomever it wants. That’s not the issue.
The issue is that this cowardly and greedy move was nothing less than
Chick-fil-A agreeing with LGBT fascists that the Salvation Army and the
Fellowship of Christian Athletes deserve to be lumped in with Ku Klux
Klan and neo-Nazis.
To make matters worse, Chick-fil-A is now donating money to the SPLC,
a legitimate hate group. Chick-fil-A also gave money to Covenant House,
an organization that hosts those demonic drag queen story hours.
If all of that does not add up to selling your soul, nothing does.
And why did Chick-fil-A sell its soul?
Was this a company desperate to stay in business, a corporation worried about its employees if the bottom fell out?
No.
Chick-fil-A is rolling in money and success. That’s what makes all of
this especially disgusting. The company didn’t sell its soul out of
desperation, it did so out of naked greed, it did so as a means to
become even wealthier and more powerful.
Listen, I don’t expect corporations to be Christian, or to be
Republican or Democrat. That’s why I don’t do boycotts. Out of my cold
dead hands will you take away my Netflix and iPhone. But…
Chick-fil-A SOLD itself to us as fellow Christians. They wore that
sheep’s clothing to hustle us, to con us, to sucker us in… Not me,
though. Sure the chicken and service are good over there, but it’s way
too expensive. I’ll take one of those godless ninety-nine cent
McDonald’s cheeseburgers over a four dollar piece of Jesus Chicken any
day of the week.

Over at The Stream, Todd Starnes is reporting the company has responded to criticism from Christians over its recent behavior.
In a letter to American Family Association president Tim Wildmon,
Chick-fil-A chairman and CEO Dan Cathy tried to get away with this: “We
inadvertently discredited several outstanding organizations that have
effectively served communities for years.”
You can read the full letter here, but that’s the gist, and for a whole host of reasons it only makes matter worse….
1) The letter does not address Chick-fil-A paying the SPLC blackmail
or funding an organization that hosts demonic drag queen story hours.
2) There is no pledge to stop paying blackmail to the SPLC or to stop funding demonic drag queen story hours.
3) There is no pledge to right the wrong of smearing these Christian organizations by renewing its funding pledge.
4) And this is the worst one of all… Chick-fil-A quietly wrote this
letter to an individual. What I mean is that instead of releasing a
public statement apologizing to the Salvation Army and the Fellowship of
Christian Athletes, Cathy tries to get himself off the hook with a
quiet letter.
Chick-fil-A can kiss my Jesus-loving ass.
If this wolf in sheep’s clothing wants to announce it is no longer a
Christian corporation, if they throw off the sheep’s clothing… that I
can respect. At least that’s honest. At least the pretense is removed.
But that’s not what these hypocrites and liars are doing.
Instead, they’re trying to keep the con alive, to have it both wasy,
to keep the Christian-tards as customers while they smear legitimate
Christians, while they fund hate groups like the SPLC that seek to
destroy Christians, while they subsidize the sexual corruption of
children.
Let me put it this way…
Chick-fil-A is willing to publicly throw the Salvation Army under
thus bus, but is not willing to criticize drag queen story hours.
